Sunny is an awesome dog! Sarah and her pal Sunny came in for a portrait session in their matching navy blue. Sunny was a very gracious model doing everything we needed of him. And my husband, Mr. Dog Whisper, can get most dogs to do anything he want. We got some really cute pictures of of the two of them. And can’t wait for Sarah to see the rest…
Matilda is precious. Her mom Sarah brought her in for her first photo session at the studio a week ago and what a great job she did. Her little fingers and toes are so sweet at this age. I could easily have posted every image, but then there would be no surprise for Sarah when she comes into see the pictures. I can’t wait to share these pictures with her.
We had a great time in the studio with Jill, John, Tucker and Charlotte. Tucker and Charlotte are wonderful kids that are very playful and fun. The kids are great at animal noises, especially monkeys. We had so much fun playing hide and seek with the bench. We look forward to having them into the studio again.
Sharab in downtown Gainesville, Fl was the site of the Mid Summer Happy on Thursday night. The event was the brain child of Pete Zimek from the Business Report, who saw a need for business owners to socialize in the summer while raising money for a great cause, the Leadership Gainesville Scholarship. Dragonfly provided some amazing sushi, Grey Goose vodka provided shots of their yummie pear vodka. Everyone had a great time.

Kristen came in with her pooch Buddy for pictures. When she said three month old puppy I was thinking, size of my hand puppy. Buddy was much, much larger than that. And has eatten 3 bags of dog food since he has come home with Kristen. Buddy was a fun pup, no ribbon for this lab, he was more interested in eatting the ribbon than wearing it! We had a blast with Kristen and her newest family member.
We are really looking forward to Mike and Justine’s wedding this fall. When we asked where they’d like to have their engagment session, they choose Dudley Farms in Newberry, Florida. Dudley Farms is an authentic working farm from the late 1800′s. What a great choice. Mike was the only one that had ever been their so we went exploring. Mike and Justine had a great time going back in time to see how people did their wash, farmed and lived. We explored the sugar cane, saw a huge turkey, pet horses and hung some laundry. Addison was recently in for her 9 month session. It has been fun watching her grow up. We even got the chance to go to her baptism at Grace United Methodist this past Sunday. She was so cute, Pastor Denny tried to take her from Adam to anoint her with the water and she wasn’t having it. I was impressed that she didn’t cry when Pastor Denny put the water on her head. I’ve seen some baptism where the child just screams. But Addison, not a peep.

Halle came in last week for her 9 month portrait session. Boy, can that girl move! Erin would get her standing there and before she could step out of the frame Halle was off and crawling. It was a fun session with lots of laughs and giggles as little Halle did not want to stand still. Can you blame her? She wants to explore now that she is mobile. One year is right around the corner for the Spiwak family’s first child. And what a cutie she is.
