What are highlight sessions?
Highlight sessions are themed portrait sessions designed to highlight various events throughout the year such as Birthdays, Halloween, and Christmas.

How are highlights different from your other sessions?
Highlight sessions are designed exclusively for children up to age 12.

Who can be photographed during highlight sessions?
Any children 12 years old or younger are welcome to participate in highlight sessions.  Siblings and cousins are welcome.  However, we typically limit the session to one grouping.

When are highlight sessions offered?
Highlight sessions are offered throughout the year.  Holiday themed sessions are typically held a few weeks before that holiday.  Please check our events calendar to see the themes and dates for our upcoming highlight sessions.

How long does it take to get the pictures back (and will I get them back in time for the holiday)?
Pictures are typically delivered in two weeks. We schedule highlight sessions several weeks before a given holiday to ensure that they are back prior to that corresponding holiday.

How long is a highlight session?
The photography session usually lasts 10-15 minutes.  However, we recommend that people plan up to one hour from arriving (a little earlier than your scheduled time) through departing (after placing your order).

When do I place my order?
You will view the images and place your order immediately following your highlight session.

Is there a session fee?
In most cases no.  The only exception is Santa Days.  Because we use a professional Certified Santa, there is a nominal $25 session fee.

How much money can I save?
You can save up to 50% off our custom session pricing.  Because we save time by having a single set used by multiple clients and our lab gives us a volume discount, we are able to pass these savings on to you.

Can I purchase extra prints after receiving my order?
Yes.  However, since we are no longer eligible for the volume discount, reprint prices will be slightly higher than if you order them on the day of the highlight session.

Can I be in the picture with my child?
Unfortunately, no.  Highlight sessions are for children only.

What if my child misses their scheduled time?
We understand that sometimes the unexpected happens and you miss your appointment.  We ask that you please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to reschedule your child.

What if my child is ill?
Please keep them home.  Highlight sessions involve lots of children and we’d hate to get everyone else sick.  Just call the studio and we will see if we can reschedule your appointment for when your child feels better.
