What is a mini session?
A mini session is a shorter version of a custom session with discounted prices.  The event typically has a theme such as Mother’s Day, Portraits in the Park, Generations, Pet Day, etc.

How is it different from a custom session?
Unlike a custom session, the theme and background are selected by the studio, the shooting time is much shorter, and the subject is limited to one grouping of your choice.

Who can be photographed during mini sessions?
Mini sessions are open to adults, children, and even pets!

Can we do multiple groupings during our mini session?
While we typically do more than one pose per session, the sessions are too short to enable more than one grouping.  If you have a variety of family combinations, we would be happy to schedule a custom session for you.

When are mini sessions offered?
Mini sessions are offered throughout the year.  Please check our events calendar to see the themes and dates for our upcoming mini sessions.

How long is a mini session?
The photography session usually lasts 15-20 minutes.  However, we recommend that people plan up to one hour from arriving (a little earlier than your scheduled time) through departing (after placing your order).

When do I place my order?
You will view the images and place your order immediately following your in-studio mini session.  For on-location mini sessions, we will schedule a convenient date and time within a few days of your session to view and place your order at our studio.

Is there a session fee?
Yes.  There is a $25 session fee to reserve your date and time.

How much money can I save?
You can save up to 40% off our custom session pricing.  Because we save time by having a single set used by multiple clients and our lab gives us a volume discount, we are able to pass these savings on to you.

Can I view my pictures online?
Yes.  Because we use EventPix to ensure the privacy of your images and the protection of your credit card information, there is a nominal fee of $20 to post images online.

What if we miss our scheduled time?
We understand that sometimes the unexpected happens and you miss your appointment.  We ask that you please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to reschedule.
